COVID-19 entry requirements

Use the table and filters below to find out about coronavirus travel restrictions for each country. The information is based on current guidelines if you were to travel imminently, and we’ll update it as and when changes come into effect. Please note the information below is given in good faith and was correct at the time of publication.

Whilst we strive to update this on a regular basis we recommend you also check the FCDO website for up-to-the-minute latest advice on this fast evolving situation. Information can change at any time. Travel restrictions apply to travel from the United Kingdom.

To find out what the restrictions of your destination mean for your trip booking, please see our booking FAQs.

Individual countries have different requirements for types of vaccine, timings and forms of proof, and you should carefully check the requirements below.  You can find information on how to demonstrate your COVID vaccination status when travelling here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/demonstrating-your-covid-19-status. Only a handful of countries are accepting the NHS app as proof at this time.

The British Government has announced that, from 19th July, travellers returning to England from Amber list countries who have received a full COVID vaccine course no longer need to quarantine. However, there will still be some testing requirements. Amber list information will be added to this table as it goes live from 19th July. You can check your individual circumstances for travel from Amber list countries here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/red-amber-and-green-list-rules-for-entering-england.
