1. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania on Foot

Explore the Baltic States on this walking holiday, which includes guided tours of Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. Outside of the cities, you can learn to bog walk in the unique ecosystem of Estonia’s Lahemaa National Park, explore forts and castles in Latvia and ramble in the dunes and pine forests of Curonian Spit in Lithuania. We walk almost every day but the maximum distance is 11km, leaving plenty of time to relax or explore the medieval towns and cities under your own steam.

On this trip we travel both the North and South Islands, making sure to visit all of the must-see attractions. Our two-week walking holiday in Vietnam includes the must-visit cities of Hanoi, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City. And to experience rural life, we spend two nights in Pu Luong Nature Reserve, in an eco-friendly lodge with breath-taking views over the mountains, forests and terraced fields of the area. The lodge is a perfect base for two days of walking past paddy fields, through local villages and along a scenic river – ending in a peaceful ride on bamboo rafts back to our base.

5. Walking in the Eastern Algarve

Escape to the historic town of Tavira in the Algarve, with its relaxed and easy-going atmosphere. This week-long trip includes several leisurely grade relaxing walks among a variety of landscapes. We ramble in coastal national parks that are home to many species of birds, including flamingos and seabirds. We walk on five of the seven days with a maximum walking distance of 15km per day, giving plenty of time to unwind on the beach and sample the delicious food and drink of the area.

6. Walking in Corfu

Exploring one of Greece’s most beautiful islands, this 8-day Corfu Trail walking tour explores golden sandy beaches, picturesque villages, and lush olive groves. Your first hike brings you to the ruined monastery of Arkoudillas as well as the island’s southernmost beach.
